Assignment
Read the following three articles (1, 2, 3) dealing with sewage, sanitation, and water pollution in developing countries. (See below for some photos specific to the Bagmati River.) Briefly summarize what you learned in the reclamation plant field trip. How does this compare to how wastewater is dealt with in many developing countries? What concerns might residents of the Middle Rio Grande have about how we deal with our wastewater? What types of issues arise from wastewater in many developing countries?
